| Knit toe-up socks with any yarn and any adjustable loom for any size foot! This pattern includes a template so you can fill in the numbers for stitches and rows for each part of the sock. Just knit up a swatch to determine how many stitches and rows you get per inch, do some fill-in-the-blank calculations, and you're ready to cast on for custom-fit socks!
This pattern works best with smaller gauge looms and sock or fingering weight yarns, though the larger stitches would make great slipper socks. The toe and heel are made with Japanese short rows (no lift & wrap turns), so there are no holes at the corners. We recommend coilless safety pins for the stitch markers, available on the Tools page.
Instructions are written in plain English, not knitting abbreviations, with illustrations showing the Japanese short row technique. A chart of foot measurements for newborns through men's sizes is included.
Knowledge required: casting on, stockinette knit and purl stitches, flat bind off.
