- Do you take phone orders?
At this time, we only accept credit card payments through PayPal. We do take orders by mail with a check or money order.
- When will I get the download files?
After you make payment via PayPal, follow the instructions to get to the web page with your download links. You will also receive an e-mail from admin@loomknitting.com with the download links within a few minutes. You may need to add admin@loomknitting.com to your address book so the e-mail with the links doesn't get trapped by your spam filter or get redirected to your junk e-mailbox.
- I don't want to use PayPal. How else can I place an order?
Fill out the order form and send it with a check or money order to the address below. The check or money order must be accepted by a bank (not a post office); there will be coded routing and account numbers on the bottom edge. There is a 10-day waiting period on personal checks to make sure they clear.
Your files will be e-mailed to you at the e-mail address you provide with your order.

- Can I get hardcopies of books and patterns, instead of download files?
Yes. The printing cost is $.30 per page. The Priority Mail shipping cost is $4.05 for up to 100 pages, and $8.10 for 100 pages and up. The descriptions of the books and patterns include the number of pages. The printing and shipping fees only cover our cost, and are in addition to the list price for each item. Just fill out the order form and send it with your payment to the address above.
- I have WebTV internet access, so I can't download or print files. How can I place an order?
Please send your mailing address to us, and we can mail you a hard copy of the order form. There are printing and shipping charges for hard copies of downloadable files.
Another option would be to have a friend with a computer and printer order the files you would like; the download links are good for 24 hours on the computer where the order is placed.
- I'm having problems printing the downloaded files. What do I do?
This ocassionally happens when an Adobe file becomes corrupted or goes missing. Please download a new free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader and try printing the file again.
- What is your return policy?
Please contact us first to see if we can resolve any issues. The cost of physical products (such as books) will be refunded via PayPal if they are returned in unused condition within two weeks of being shipped from us. Sorry, we cannot refund shipping costs.
There are no refunds for electronic files, as they are considered intellectual property. This includes hardcopies of downloadable files.
- How does the online order process work?
You choose the files you want, pay for them via PayPal, and immediately download them to your computer. In more detail:
1. Select the books and patterns you would like to purchase by clicking on the Order button for each one. From the shopping cart, you can click on Continue Shopping to add another item, or on Go To Payment to complete the order.
2. On the Check Out page, enter your name and e-mail address. Your street address is only needed for items that will be mailed to you.
3. Verify your order and shipping information (if applicable), and click Continue (you may need to scroll down to see the Continue button).
4. You are automatically brought to the PayPal website, where you log in and make payment, either from your bank account or with your credit card. Loom Knitting does not see any of your financial information; the funds are transferred from you to our PayPal account. This service is free to you; the PayPal transaction charge is paid for by Loom Knitting.
5. PayPal returns you to the Loom Knitting website. Click the Continue button, and a page will display with links to download the files you just paid for. Click on each file, and it will be copied to your computer.
6. You will also receive an e-mail with links to the download files. (The e-mail is sent to the address you supplied on the Check Out page.) The download links expire after 24 hours, and are only valid on the computer where the order was placed.
